Zoe Kim

Zoe’s path to POP is shaped by global perspectives and a passion for creating positive change in people’s lives. Growing up in Kazakhstan and Singapore, she developed an early appreciation for diverse experiences and problem-solving. Zoe pursued a degree in product design at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore. There, she discovered how design could improve people’s lives, which ultimately led her to exploring a career in POP.

She was formally introduced to POP at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting. Zoe was drawn to the unique opportunity the POP profession offers to create and care—the perfect intersection of her skills and passions—and was excited about the blend of healthcare, hands-on fabrication and human impact.

Now, she is studying prosthetics and orthotics at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Zoe enjoys working with patients to connect their stories to the devices she helps create. Outside of the lab and clinic, Zoe is an avid marathon runner and traveler and continues to embrace movement in all aspects of her life while helping others do the same.
