Tim Marrin

Tim was working in sales and looking to make a change when his father heard about POP on a radio show. As a former health and physical education teacher, the idea of helping people regain their mobility seemed exciting. At 46 years old, he decided to return to college and pursue a career in POP. He now works as a certified prosthetist orthotist (CPO) at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minnesota. While he primarily treats adults with childhood-onset diseases such as spina bifida and cerebral palsy, one of his favorite patient memories was the joy of seeing a young patient immediately run to the playground after being fitted with her prosthesis.

Don’t be afraid to go back to school and forge a new path.
