Paige Hennigan

Paige became curious about POP as a child after she met Winter, the famous bottlenose dolphin with a prosthetic tail. As she grew older, Paige explored careers that blended her interests in engineering and healthcare, which led her to rediscover the POP profession.

To further explore the profession, Paige shadowed at POP clinics and cherished the meaningful moments she witnessed, such as watching someone take their first steps with a prosthetic leg. These patient experiences strengthened her desire to help individuals return to the activities that matter most to them by improving their mobility.

Paige looks forward to beginning her residency after completing her master’s degree from Northwestern University, and she is eager to apply lessons from her favorite course, behavioral science, to patient care. Paige hopes to work in early intervention care for pediatric patients to support their development, confidence and activity.
