Nicholas has always been interested in building things, from Legos to Gundams, model kits based on characters from an anime series. Several members of his family had health challenges when he was growing up, so he knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue healthcare to help families like his.
Nicholas earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and behavioral science. While in college, he discovered POP and had the opportunity to shadow at a clinic. He realized how POP combined his passions for healthcare and building things. Inspired by his experiences, he continued working as an assistant at the clinic and was encouraged by his mentor to apply for a master’s program in orthotics and prosthetics.
Today, Nicholas is completing his master’s at Northwestern University and is enthusiastic to learn more about the POP profession. He is excited to provide patients with life-changing care and help them regain mobility. Nicholas aspires to follow his mentor’s example and create an environment where patients are empowered to ask questions and take charge of their care.
