Michael is a certified prosthetist orthotist (CPO) and clinic manager in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He has always been interested in mechanical skills and wanted to find a career where he could use that skill set to help people. Michael started pursuing an undergraduate degree in kinesiology, but after a career aptitude test suggested a career in prosthetics, Michael was inspired to shadow a POP professional. He decided that a career that required problem-solving, creating and building mechanical parts and one-on-one patient interaction was right up his alley. He enjoys how he can offer patients a simple solution that could deliver a significant improvement in their daily lives. Michael says helping someone get back on their feet and seeing the effect of this change makes him smile every day.
