Kathleen is a certified prosthetist orthotist (CPO) based out of Austin, TX who focuses on education, development, and implementation of clinical outcome measures within O&P. While she began graduate school as a math major, she realized her purpose was to help others. Kathleen was inspired by a childhood friend who wore a hip brace and decided to pursue a career improving the lives of others with mobility issues. She previously managed a clinic in Connecticut, where she focused on developing braces for children with neuromuscular and developmental concerns. Now, she’s channeled her passions for patient care into POP research and education and enjoys designing solutions that improve lives.
