Kaitlyn Caulfield Edmonston

Kaitlyn loves helping kids be kids, from fitting them with a custom device featuring their favorite cartoon character to helping them sit “criss-cross applesauce” with their classmates during story time. Kaitlyn was born with clubfoot and wore braces as an infant. When she was in high school, she started shadowing at a local POP clinic. The first patient she saw there was a young girl who had a club foot and was worried about surgery. Kaitlyn helped the girl and her family understand and feel comfortable with her care plan, and that’s when Kaitlyn knew POP was the path for her. Now a certified prosthetist orthotist, she wakes up each day excited to help families on their POP journey. Kaitlyn received her bachelor’s in exercise science from the University of Mississippi and her master’s in prosthetics and orthotics from the University of Pittsburgh.

I love POP because it is a really unique career that allows you to give back to all kinds of people.
