Josh McCown

Josh first learned about POP when his dad was diagnosed with scoliosis and lost function in his right leg. He saw the impact his father’s orthotist had in his and his family’s life and knew he wanted to do the same for others. Josh studied kinesiology and exercise science as an undergraduate and earned his master’s in prosthetics and orthotics from Eastern Michigan University. He is currently completing his clinical residency in Indiana and loves putting his degree into practice every day to help patients and their families. Having coached swimming for years, Josh loves teaching and hopes to become a POP professor one day. From the pool to his future classroom, he is excited to share his passions with the next generation.

There is no better feeling than seeing the joy in a patient’s eyes when they achieve their goals, knowing you played a role in making that possible.
