Jillian Dunn

Jillian never thought she would choose a career in healthcare, but her first year at UT Southwestern made her excited to pursue a path as a POP professional. From construction engineering to mechanical engineering, Jillian was looking for the best profession to apply her skills, and it wasn’t until interning with a prosthetist that she discovered the possibility of working with technology and people. Jillian has worked with the Range of Motion project and as a Special Olympics coach in college. She enjoys everything about the POP profession, whether that’s seeing how her efforts give someone joy or building new and lasting friendships. As a POP student, her favorite part of the day is the hands-on projects that involve problem solving, creativity, and fun.

As a student, we get started right away. You gain exposure to everything and there’s no sitting around.
