When Isabelle was in elementary school, she joined Future Problem Solving, a club that brings together students to apply critical thinking to hypothetical scenarios through a series of international competitions.
Isabelle’s exposure to and passion for critical thinking, cheerleading, dance and health care inspired her to pursue her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Boston University. She went on to earn her master’s in orthotics and prosthetics at the University of Hartford. During graduate school, she coached cheerleading at her old high school. She loved helping students become more confident and reach their goals, and this experience inspired her to want to work with kids in her POP career as well.
Now an orthotic resident at Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics, Isabelle devotes herself to helping kids move better—and be kids. She finds joy in witnessing the resiliency and happiness of her young patients, as they strive to achieve their goals.
