Daniela Perez Navas

Daniela’s love of dance inspired her to pursue a career in POP. She wants to help individuals of all abilities to regain independence and move in ways that are meaningful to them, whether that be through dancing or other activities that bring joy.

After graduating with an applied physiology and kinesiology undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, Daniela became a patient care coordinator at Gainesville Prosthetics supporting communications, service coordination and patient care experiences. She also helped host POP Month open houses and career awareness events at the clinic, raising awareness of POP in her community.

Her next step is moving to Chicago, IL, to pursue her Masters of Prosthetics & Orthotics at Northwestern University in July 2026, where she looks forward to learning about gait biomechanics and pediatric care as she prepares to become a certified prosthetist orthotist specializing in pediatrics.
