Clare Hudak

Clare grew up with family friends and veterans who used prosthetic, orthotic and pedorthic devices, and developed an interest in POP at an early age. She was amazed by the variety of skills POP professionals use and became excited to help others regain their mobility. Clare earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and set her sights on becoming a POP professional.

Clare is completing her master’s in prosthetics and orthotics at Northwestern University. Her most significant source of inspiration comes from her professors’ dedication to advancing the profession by preparing the next generation of POP professionals.

Clare wants to help pediatric patients and veterans like those she grew up around. She looks forward to a lifelong career assisting others to regain function, freedom and independence.
