Ciera is a certified prosthetist orthotist (CPO) working in San Antonio. After discovering POP through an online search, Ciera volunteered at Shriners Hospitals for Children. She loved working with the kids and was fascinated by the combination of medicine, engineering and patient care. Ciera went on to earn her degree in prosthetics and orthotics. She spent several years in direct patient care and now works on cutting-edge research focused on helping injured service members return to active duty. Most of all, Ciera enjoys how POP lets her make a positive impact, whether through a one-on-one patient connection or contributing to research that can influence care for years to come.
