Christina only discovered the POP profession after learning of an open technician role at a prosthetics and orthotics clinic. From day one, she could envision herself pursuing a POP career. The hands-on work and ability to interact with patients perfectly blended her strengths and interests.
Fifteen years later, Christina now holds three credentials: certified pedorthist, certified orthotic assistant and certified orthotic fitter. She supports more than six clinicians and enjoys caring for different patients, including children and people living with diabetes, to help them regain their mobility and confidence.
Christina thrives in the dynamic work of POP. Each day brings a new challenge, whether it’s designing a new device, mastering a new skill or helping a patient stand and walk on their own, she’s eager to tackle any challenge that comes her way.
