After emigrating from Germany to Canada, Christian and his family were interested in franchising a business. They found Foot Solutions, a pedorthics clinic that specializes in crafting custom prescribed orthotics and supplying supportive, recommended footwear. 

Christian used his economics degree to manage business operations at his family’s franchise. However, as he worked more with patients, he realized that he really enjoyed the interpersonal side of POP. In 2006, Christian earned his pedorthics certification from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). 

Nearly 20 years later, Christian owns a Foot Solutions franchise in Vancouver, British Columbia. He embraces the challenges of being a business owner and enjoys his work as a pedorthist and helping patients get back on their feet. In his spare time, he produces videos on foot health tips for his YouTube channel Foot Geekz.
