Vernon has worked in the POP profession for two decades. He started creating back braces for patients of all ages, gradually transitioned to creating leg braces, and then moved into prosthetics. He especially likes creating prosthetic arms and legs for patients because there are infinite ways to customize designs to fit patients’ wants and needs.
Vernon is looking forward to the opportunity of being a POP Ambassador to build on his experience influencing the POP profession. Several years ago, he created a TikTok page to show off his prosthetics work after his daughter bet he couldn’t attract a large following. Vernon proved her wrong by attracting nearly 5,000 followers within a few days. He has continued to inspire thousands of TikTok users with his brief explanations of the complexities of prosthetic creation. He is incredibly proud of being recognized by a POP student IRL (in real life). Vernon hopes to continue spreading his love of POP on social media and encourages other POP professionals interested in social media to dive in.
