Ben is a certified prosthetist orthotist in Austin, Texas. He manages a patient care clinic, teaches at Baylor College of Medicine and helps patients get back on their feet by fitting them with orthotic and prosthetic devices. While thinking about what he wanted to do with his undergraduate manufacturing engineering degree, Ben, a former Boy Scout, remembered a tour he took of an orthotic and prosthetic clinic with his troop. He reached out to that clinic for an internship and has been a dedicated POP professional since. Ben believes his primary role as a POP clinician is listening to patients and helping them achieve their goals, no matter what they are. He loves building relationships with patients and seeing the impact that he and other clinicians have on their lives.
