Althea has always been interested in fitness and used to work as a personal trainer. She studied exercise science in college with the goal of becoming a physical therapist—until her friend suggested prosthetics and orthotics. Althea is intrigued with POP’s combination of hands-on creativity and how it can interconnect with her passion for health and movement. Althea graduated from Northwestern University with her master’s in prosthetics and orthotics and is completing her prosthetic and orthotic residencies in Chicago. Her favorite thing about POP is how the profession is constantly innovating and finding new ways to improve lives. She is excited to be a part of this process and cannot wait to see what the power of POP makes possible for her future patients.
