Allysa is working towards her Master’s of Science in prosthetics and orthotics at the University of Pittsburgh. She always knew she wanted to enter the POP profession, but initially pursued a biomedical path before realizing her desire to be involved in patient interaction. Allysa is also passionate about robotics, and she likes how the profession perfectly combines her mechanical interests with the therapy aspect of working with people. As a student, she likes that you work from the feet up and learn everything there is to know about communicating with patients and as a team member in the clinic.
