Colin Bell

Colin grew up playing sports and was always interested in how the body works. He thought athletic training or physical therapy were obvious paths for him to pursue. Then, during high school, the captain of his soccer team was diagnosed with bone cancer and underwent an amputation. Seeing the difference prosthetic devices made in his classmate’s life inspired Colin to pursue a career in POP.

Colin earned his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois and is now pursuing a master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Northwestern University. He loves the level of detail and artistry involved in POP. When he started his journey, Colin never dreamed he would be able to produce such intricate devices. He credits his mentors with helping him grow professionally and looks forward to helping his future patients achieve their goals.
