Ashley (they/them) is a certified prosthetist orthotist (CPO) working in Seattle, Washington. Since high school, Ashley aspired to work in healthcare, as they had a strong interest in working with their hands, caring for patients and health sciences. They stumbled upon POP in college when searching for jobs with their sports medicine degree, and once they started an internship at a clinic, Ashley found their fit. Their day encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities for adult patients. Ashley draws inspiration from the people they meet, saying that the best part of their day is developing new connections with different people and playing a role in their rehabilitation journey.
